Freelance Content Strategy Consultant

I help teams produce content that actually works.

Most teams are stuck: too much to produce (only accelerated by AI), no clear content strategy, gaps in ownership, and workflows held together with hope and long Slack threads.

I work across three areas to fix this, depending on where you need help:

Strategy
& Creative Direction

Strategy, narrative development, concepting.

The "what to say and why"

Workflow
& Operations

Workflow design, automation setup, production infrastructure.

The "how to produce it"

Team Enablement
& Interim Leadership

Upskilling, workshops, and temporary content leadership.

The "who does it and how they learn"

About me

I'm a freelance content strategist and storyteller who loves figuring out how organisations talk about what they do, and fixing it when it's not working.

I've done this work for more than 10 years, across agencies, companies, and global brands. I've built content operations from scratch and helped teams find their footing; and, along the way, I've created a lot of content myself, too.

But most of all, I’m just curious about people. What they do, why they care, what makes them proud and excited. This goes for both your audience and your team: good content is about understanding your audience and what they actually want to hear, and then creating the space for your team to deliver exactly that.

Working with me means someone who's serious about the work but not about themselves. Someone who wants your team to do their best work, but makes sure everyone enjoys the process along the way. Oh, and there's another huge plus: you'll probably meet my dog, Pixel, at some point!

And about AI, as it seems mandatory to say something about it these days: I've spent years working with AI in content production. It’s useful, but it's not the answer to a production problem. A strong strategy however, is what turns AI from a volume machine into a genuinely useful tool.

Not sure where to start? Here's how we can work together.

Not sure if I can help? Send me a message — I'll be honest about whether it's a fit, and if not, I'll point you to someone who can.
